April 14, 1951 - March 31, 2017 MOORE Sue Elaine Edwards Rutherford, 65, of Moore, OK, passed away March 31, 2017. Sue was born on April 14, 1951, to DC and Bertha Edwards. Sue helped her husband at Mattress World. Sue loved crafts and buying gifts for people. She took care of her beloved daughter for 32 years before she passed away. Sue was a very family oriented person, and she was an excellent mother and wife. Sue is survived by: her husband, Steve Rutherford; sister, Marcy Melvin and husband John; brother, D.C. Edwards Jr. and wife Marilyn; and sister, Janet Sawyer and husband Jerry. She was preceded in death by her parents, D.C. Edwards Sr. & Bertha; and daughter, Shelli Rutherford. Services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 S. Broadway, Moore, OK, with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Services are under direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home.
